I'm disabled from an accident that severed my neck high up enough I have limited mobility in my hands and fingers and not just from my waist-down so in case you might not think I'm making sense here! LOL To finally get to the point I guess my sole question is about my length of gameplay. Am I missing out on the game in any way by taking my time familiarizing myself with plants herbs wild horses and roaming all around?

I have met so many people playing Red Dead that are severely disabled and I think Rockstar should be proud of the fact that they are providing an outlet for people who are disabled to have fun socialise and enjoy themselves in a vibrant fun world in a way they normally couldn't do. In my gang we have two members one is myself who are legally blind.
We both have no eyesight in one eye and very little in the other. In my case it's a very limited field of vision so I can only see things straight ahead and I have no peripheral vision so I can't drive I can't get around easily or read labels on things.
But I can see my TV in front of me at just the right distance in a dark room so of course I spend a lot of time playing Red Dead and it was hilarious to me when this new member joined our gang and said "Just so you know I'm legally blind. I only have limited vision in one eye" and I said "Me too.
Welcome to the gang". It's great that so many disabled people enjoy this game and spend so many hours playing it. I say do whatever you want in the official map download -minecraft. Screw objectives. Do whatever makes you happy. I don't like PvP or PvE stuff because I'm not good at shooting for obvious reasons. Gang hideouts are no problem but more difficult stuff is not so easy. So I mostly enjoy hunting and collecting. My one request to Rockstar other than the million game breaking bugs that could be fixed would be to provide an option to enhance the official map download -minecraft mist above objects for people who are sight impaired and have great difficulty seeing this especially in daylight.
Those damn birds nests are a nightmare trying to see the golden mist high up in a tree against the blue sky. I'd really love Rockstar to acknowlege their HUGE disabled community and include a few assistive technology features so that we could play on a level playing field with everyone else.
It wouldn't ruin the game to just have an option in the settings like "Enhanced treasure markers for the vision impaired" and it would make so much difference to some of us. I have over hours down on storymode half of which was spent exploring outside of the map to hunt Animals take your time this game is endless ammounts of fun and even when you finish storymode you still get to spend hours upon hours going other stuff.
